I first started my ketogenic diet journey as a joke. My husband, David, had done "dirty keto" for a month before and saw some weight loss. He wanted to do it again in preparation for a summer trip planned with our cousins, so I said I'd do it with him for a month, having gotten frustrated with a "healthy", "portion conscious" diet that wasn't working after gaining some holiday weight after Thanksgiving and Christmas.


But, in true Cass fashion, I decided I wanted to "do it right" and not just try a "dirty keto" diet. So began downloading of the Keto App (available from your Apple Store) to track macros, mass purchases of keto cookbooks, and subscription to Green Chef (link on this blog) to help me get started.


Now, I find myself starting this blog to share recipes. Some of them are ones I've adapted from Green Chef. Others are some I've made up on my own, altering a few things from cookbooks, online recipes, or friends' shares. I am starting this blog simply to share these recipes.
