Keto Friendly Hamburger Helper

1 min read

This one was inspired by seeing an IG reel about hamburger helper and wishing there was a way to make it keto... and once again the Hero elbow pasta to the rescue! This dish is an easy one-pot meal and tastes AMAZING.

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Hero elbow pasta

1 lb ground beef (I used ground chuck)

2 tbsp tomato paste

0.5 medium onion, diced

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp chili powder

3 cups of beef bone broth

2 cups of grated cheddar cheese

salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add the ground beef and diced onions to a hot soup pot. Cook over medium-high heat for about 7 minutes unti the meat is browned. Break up larger pieces with your spoon. If there is a excess fat, remove.

  2. Add the tomato paste, garlic powder, and chili powder. Stir to mix thoroughly.

  3. Add the beef bone broth and allow the pot to come to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and allow to simmer uncooked for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Turn off the heat, adding the shredded cheddar. Stir well and salt/pepper to taste.

  5. Enjoy!

This recipe makes 4 servings.
